Volunteering at MODELS 2014 is an excellent opportunity for students from around the globe to meet and exchange ideas with leading individuals in the MDE community from both industry and research! Being engaged in the Student volunteer program is also an excellent way of meeting other students from all over the world and to offset most of the cost of attending the MODELS 2014 conference. Application Summary Online Application Form:  online form Adviser Recommendation: email Submission Due Date:  August 15, 2014 Notifications Date: August 24, 2014 Selection Process Student volunteers must submit both the online form and a letter of recommendation from their advisor no later than August 15. Letters of recommendation should be submitted to the Student Volunteers Chair directly by email. We expect to have around 14 positions. Those who are selected will be notified no later than August 24.

Responsabilities

Approximately 20-24 hours work, in total, during the conference week (Ideally, students volunteers will be assigned to a satellite event and/or a conference session in which they have a scientific interest.) Technical assistance to speakers and conference participants. Other activities that keep the MODELS 2104 conference running smoothly. Availability between the Saturday, September 27th and Friday, October 3rd.

Qualifications

Student volunteers must be enrolled in a Ph.D., Master, or full-time undergraduate program at the time of the conference. They have to be able to communicate fluently in English.
